Local Government Impact

The bill would allow peace officers and fire fighters employed in a
county with a population between one million and 1.5 million to donate no
more than one hour per month of accumulated vacation, sick, or
compensatory time to the legislative time bank established and maintained
by the governmental body in the name of a peace officer or fire fighter
organization. The governmental body would manage the account, which would
involve minimal administrative costs.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is
anticipated.
