Carter, Chair, House Committee on Urban Affairs FROM: John Keel, Director, Legislative Budget Board IN RE: HB2706 by Reyna, Arthur (Relating to a legislative, vacation, and sick leave time bank for certain peace officers and firefighters.), As Introduced ************************************************************************** * No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. * ************************************************************************** Local Government Impact The bill would allow peace officers and fire fighters employed by the state, a municipality with a population over 200,000, or a county with a population over 500,000 to donate an unlimited number of hours per month of accumulated vacation or compensatory time to a time bank established and maintained by the governmental body in the name of a peace officer or fire fighter organization.
