The bill transfers oversight of state agency operating plans and
strategic plans for information resources management from the Department
of Information Resources (DIR) to the Legislative Budget Board (LBB).
The LBB currently performs these functions pursuant to an interagency
contract with DIR. Funding and Full Time Equivalents for the LBB to
continue to perform these functions are included in the General
Appropriations Act as introduced.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
