The bill would authorize the Health and Human Services Commission to
establish one or more pilot projects. The cost of the project(s) would
be subject to reimbursement through the Medicaid program and would
demonstrate the application of technology in providing rehabilitation
services, services for the aging or disabled, or long term care
services. The bill further provides relative to federal waivers. The
bill does not specify the number of participants in the project or
whether services related to technology would supplement or replace
current services. For purposes of this fiscal note, it is assumed
services related to technology would replace current services.
