actions brought against certain public institutions of
higher education or against certain officers or

* No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. *

The bill would require any action filed against an institution of higher
education or one of its employees or officers to be brought in the
county where the chief executive officer of the institution is located.
The University of Texas System and its components would be exempt from
the requirement.
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is
anticipated.
