issuance of bonds by school districts.), As Introduced

* No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. *

Currently, a district must demonstrate to the attorney general that is
has the projected ability to pay principal and interest on proposed new
bonds, from a tax rate not to exceed $0.50, before it can issue such
bonds.
The bill would repeal that provision.
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is
anticipated.
