permits for land development projects.), As Introduced

The bill would add the subdivision of land for development to the
definition of project for purposes related to issuing permits for land
development. Under the provisions of the bill, a change in the specific
use of all or a portion of the land within a preliminary plat, final
plat, preliminary plan, site plan, or planned unit development would not
be considered a new project requiring one or more additional permits if
the new use would be permitted by right or under special conditions or
approval under the land use regulations.
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is
anticipated.
