The provisions of the bill would authorize a hospital district to adopt
reasonable procedures for minimizing and detecting fraud and for
conducting administrative hearings, including an appeals process, on
disqualifying persons from receiving indigent care.
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is
anticipated.
