**************************************************************************
* No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. *
**************************************************************************
An institution cannot charge a TEXAS Grant recipient more tuition and
fees than the statewide average. The bill allows institutions to make
up the difference between their higher tuition and fees and the
statewide average with loans or Pell grants. These student financial aid
funds are not appropriated. Therefore, no fiscal impact to the State is
anticipated.
Local Government Impact
No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
