The bill would amend Section 532 of the Health and Safety Code by
removing from the Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation's
statutory list of department facilities the Amarillo State Center,
Beaumont State Center, and Laredo State Center. These three facilities
are currently community-operated mental health and mental retardation
centers.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
