The Board of Health would be required to set fees by January 1, 2002. Methodology TDH estimates 750 registered opticians currently pay $30 for annual renewal fees for a single registration or $50 for a dual registration. A $20 increase in the annual renewal fee would provide an additional $15,000 per year in revenue, and cover program costs. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated. Source Agencies: 501 Texas Department of Health LBB Staff: JK, HD, RM
