before a property tax hearing under Section 41.461,
Property Tax Code.), As Introduced
**************************************************************************
* No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. *
**************************************************************************
The bill would amend Section 41.461 of the Tax Code to require the chief
appraiser to inform a protesting property owner before the appraisal
review board of the availability of sales and other information specific
to the property under protest.
Since passage of this bill would involve only notice to a property owner
of currently availability information, the bill should have no
significant fiscal impact on the state or units of local governments.
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is
anticipated.
