The bill would require the Department of Protective and Regulatory
Services to require licensed, registered and listed child-care entities
to pay late fees when the annual fee is overdue. The department reports
it has no means to determine how many facilities would be subjected to
the late fees and states there would be no cost to the agency as a
result of the bill.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
