The bill amends the Natural Resources Code to provide flexibility to the
General Land Office by making  proceeds for mineral leases and royalties
available to the School Land Board for the acquisition of real property
and mineral interests to the credit of the Permanent School Fund.
Enactment of the legislation may impact the corpus of the Permanent
School Fund.
