Local Government Impact
No direct fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
If low performing schools are closed and teachers are reassigned, this
could create a situation where districts would be obliged to offer
additional financial compensation, such as stipends, to attract teachers
and administrators to low-performing schools.
