Methodology The bill would require changes in the Department of Public Safety's on-line and batch computer programs to satisfy data entry, driver record and history management, and programs that support correspondence and general reports. It is estimated that 704 total hours of contract computer programming at $120 per hour will be required to update the systems to track those with a blood alcohol content between .006 and .008. It is estimated that the cost for programming would be $84,480 in fiscal year 2002 only. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
