The bill would make the transfer of a firearm by a dealer punishable as a
Class C misdemeanor if the dealer does not provide a trigger lock or a
similar device intended to prevent the accidental discharge of the
firearm.
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is
anticipated.
