Fiscal Analysis
The bill would create a new judicial district, the 410th Judicial
District, composed of Kaufman County. The bill would take effect and
the judicial district would be created on September 1, 2001.
Methodology
The bill would cost the state $128,014 per year to cover the salary and
benefits for the new district judge.
Local Government Impact
Kaufman County would have an annual operating expense of $191,490.00 per
year plus $25,000 for a one time capital start-up expenditure for a
total of $216,490 in FY 2002. In FY 2002 and thereafter, the cost would
be $191,490.
