transportation corporation, and the Texas Turnpike Authority to impose
and collect administrative fees for failure or refusal to pay toll
charges. The bill would allow fees to be imposed and collected in an
amount not to exceed $100 for each event of non-payment to recover unpaid
toll collection costs.

The bill would make it a misdemeanor offense punishable by a fine not to
exceed $250 for an operator of a motor vehicle, other than an authorized
