The bill would create an Advisory Committee on Reducing Drug Demand. The
Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse (TCADA) would provide
administrative support to the committee. The agency could also
reimburse members for travel and related expenses provided that the
General Appropriations Act specifically authorized the agency to do so.
It is anticipated that these new responsibilities could be absorbed
within TCADA's current appropriation and FTE levels.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is
anticipated.
