Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is
anticipated.
Costs incurred by a county bordering on the Gulf of Mexico for
implementing an ordinance prohibiting motor vehicle traffic on any
natural or man-made sand dune or other form of shoreline protection would
be incurred for creating and posting signs regarding the ordinance at
approximately $250 per sign. Costs for enforcement would be absorbed
into the regular duties of enforcing ordinances.
