Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is
anticipated.

Costs for a county bordering on the Gulf of Mexico to implement an
ordinance prohibiting open fires on a beach in the unincorporated area
of the county would be incurred for creating and posting signs regarding
the ordinance at approximately $250 per sign. Enforcement costs would be
absorbed as part of the regular duties for enforcing ordinances.
