Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is
anticipated.

Costs of implementing an ordinance to prohibit glass products on public
beaches by counties bordering the Gulf of Mexico would be incurred for
creating and posting signs concerning the ordinance, at approximately
$250 per sign. Enforcement costs would be absorbed as part of regular
patrol and enforcement duties.
