The bill would authorize a court to reduce or increase the amount of
accrued interest on child support arrearages under certain
circumstances. The reduction or increase would only be ordered upon
motion of a party and certain findings by the court.
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is
anticipated.
