"Buster" (Relating to the creation of the spaceport trust fund.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted ************************************************************************** * No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. * ************************************************************************** The bill would amend Chapter 482 of the Government Code to establish the Spaceport Trust Fund as a trust fund outside the treasury under the Comptroller of Public Accounts and administered by the Texas Aerospace Commission (TAC). The trust fund would consist of money from gifts, grants, or donations to the fund and money from any other source designated by the Legislature. In the past, the agency has received donations totaling $92,264 for Spaceport Initiatives. The bill would take effect September 1, 2001.
