The bill would amend several sections of the Property Tax Code. The bill
would allow the Comptroller's Technical Advisory Committee to meet as
often as necessary, allow supplemental certification of railroad rolling
stock records, allow property owners or agents to inspect and copy
appraisal firm information used or considered in the owner's appraisal,
and designate the appraisal district as the entity required to submit tax
abatement-related information to the Comptroller.
The bill would result in no additional significant costs or revenue
implications to the state or to units of local government
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is
anticipated.
