the weather modification program; providing penalties.),

The bill would transfer the authority for the administration of the
state's weather modification program from the Texas Natural Resource
Conservation Commission to the Texas Department of Agriculture. This
includes the administration of the grants program and the issuance of
licenses and permits.
It is assumed that all operating costs, revenue, and 1.5 full-time
equivalent positions (FTEs) associated with the administration of the
state's weather modification program, as well as all assets associated
with the state's weather modification program will be transferred to the
Texas Department of Agriculture.

None.
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is
anticipated.
