Local Government Impact

The bill would create a county court at law for Hood County. The bill
would take effect and the new court would be created September 1, 2001.

The Hood County Auditor estimates that annual costs for the judge's
salary, ancillary personnel and supplies would be $320,100. There would
be no cost for additional courtroom space.
