(This note was revised to remove the Texas Education Agency costs that
would occur had not the original bill provision been deleted which
allowed districts to demonstrate that counting students enrolled in
private Texas or out-of-state institutions of higher education would
remove them from the lowest 10 percent.)
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is
anticipated.
