         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 8, 2001,  
         the House Committee on Agriculture & Livestock met in a formal  
         meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative  
         Swinford, at 12:02 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

                   Miller (5). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives McReynolds; Brown, Betty; Christian;  
                   Green (4). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         SB 779 
          
         The chair laid out SB 779. 
          
         Representative Swinford offered a complete committee substitute.  
          
         The committee substitute was adopted without objection. 
          
         Representative Hardcastle moved that SB 779, as substituted, be  
         reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the  
         following record vote:  
          
         Ayes:               Representatives Swinford; Hardcastle; Hupp;  
                             Kolkhorst; Miller (5).  
           
         Nays:               None (0).  
           
         Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).  
           
         Absent:        Representatives McReynolds; Brown, Betty;  
                        Christian; Green  (4).  
           
         At 12:04 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
