         Committee on Appropriations, Joint Committee on the Teacher  
         Shortage, met in a public hearing and was called to order by the  
         co-chair, Representative Hochberg, at 12:07 p.m.

                   McReynolds; Mowery; Grusendorf (6). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Coleman; Eiland; Gallego; Gutierrez;  
                   Hamric; Moreno, Paul; Pitts; Smith; Turner, Sylvester

         A quorum was not present. 
          
         Also present:  Representative Pickett
