         Pursuant to a notice posted on May 23, 2002, the House Committee  
         on Criminal Jurisprudence met in a public hearing and was called  
         to order by the chair, Representative Hinojosa, at 10:20 a.m.

         Chair recognized Ruben Bonilla, Jr., Chairman of the Port of  
         Corpus Christi Authority, for opening statements.

         At 12:30 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,
