The House Committee on Economic Development 77th Legislature February 5, 2002 10:00 a.m. Capitol Extension, E1.010 Pursuant to a notice posted on January 28, 2002, the House Committee on Economic Development met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Solis, Jim, at 10:22 a.m. The roll was answered as follows: Present: Representatives Solis, Jim; Keffer; Luna, Vilma; Seaman; Yarbrough (5). Absent: Representatives Clark; Deshotel; Homer; McClendon (4). A quorum was present. The chairman delivered opening remarks and stated that the purpose of the meeting was to hear invited testimony from state agencies and the private sector in regards to the committee's interim charges.
