         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 20,  
         2001, the House Committee on Energy Resources met in a formal  
         meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative  
         Lewis, Ron, at 12:39 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

                   (9). 
          
         Absent:   None (0). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         HB 1317 
          
         The chair laid out HB 1317 as pending business.  
          
         Representative Hawley offered a complete committee substitute.  
          
         Representative Hawley offered an amendment to the committee  
         substitute.  
          
         The amendment was adopted without objection. 
          
         The committee substitute, as amended, was adopted without  
         objection. 
          
         Representative Lewis, Ron moved that HB 1317, as substituted, be  
         reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the  
         following record vote:
