         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on March 29,  
         2001, the House Committee on Environmental Regulation met in a  
         formal meeting and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative Chisum, at 12:58 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Chisum; Bosse; Geren; Kuempel; Uher  
                   (5). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Bonnen; Dukes; Howard; Zbranek (4). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         HB 2912 
          
         The chair laid out HB 2912 as pending business.  
          
         (Representative Dukes now present.) 
          
         Representative Bosse offered a complete committee substitute.  
          
         The chair recognized Representative Bosse to explain the  
         measure.  
          
         The committee substitute was adopted without objection. 
          
         Representative Geren moved that HB 2912, as substituted, be  
         reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the  
         following record vote:  
          
         Ayes:               Representatives Chisum; Bosse; Dukes; Geren;  
                             Kuempel; Uher (6).  
           
         Nays:               None (0).  
           
         Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).  
           
         Absent:        Representatives Bonnen; Howard; Zbranek  (3).  
           
         At 1:01 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
