The House Committee on Higher Education 77th Legislature April 10, 2001 5:00 p.m. Capitol Extension, E2.010 CORRECTED MINUTES On May 5, 2001, the House Committee on Higher Education authorized the correction of the minutes for the meeting of the House Committee on Higher Education held on April 10, 2001. The following are the corrected minutes for that meeting: Pursuant to a notice posted on April 5, 2001, once revised on April 5, 2001, again revised on April 10, 2001, via a suspension of the 5-day posting rule, and lastly revised on April 10, 2001 at the request of Chairwoman Rangel on the House Floor in order to postpone the hearing until 5:00 p.m., the House Committee on Higher Education met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Rangel, at 5:10 p.m. The roll was answered as follows: Present: Representatives Rangel; Brown, Fred; Farabee; Goolsby; Jones, Jesse; West, George "Buddy" (6).
