Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 16,
2001, the House Committee on Human Services met in a formal
meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative
Naishtat, at 12:31 p.m.
The roll was answered as follows:

Representative Naishtat offered an amendment to the measure.

Representative Ehrhardt moved that SB1839, as amended, be
reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the
following record vote:
Ayes: Representatives Naishtat; Chavez; Ehrhardt;
Noriega; Raymond; Villarreal, Mike (6).
Nays: Representatives Davis, John; Wohlgemuth (2).
Present, Not Voting: None (0).
Absent: Representative Telford (1).
At 12:45 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,
the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
