Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 5, 2001,
the House Committee on Insurance met in a formal meeting and was
called to order by the chair, Representative Smithee, at 11:20
a.m.

The chair laid out SB 466 as pending business.
The chair recognized Representative Eiland to explain the
measure.
Representative Averitt moved that SB 466, without amendments, be
reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on
Local and Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed by the
following record vote:
Ayes: Representatives Smithee; Eiland; Averitt;
Lewis, Glenn; Moreno, Joe E.; Seaman;
Thompson (7).
