         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 10,  
         2001, the House Committee on Local & Consent Calendars met in a  
         formal meeting and was called to order by the chair,

         Local, Consent, and Resolutions Calendar for Friday, May 11,  
         2001:  HB 1764, HB 1765.  
          
         The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

                             Carter; Cook; Jones, Jesse; King, Tracy;  
                             McClendon; Puente; Ritter; Solomons (10).  
           
         Nays:               None (0).

         Absent:        Representative Keffer  (1).  
          
         Representative Cook moved that the floor amendment to SB 651  
         offered by Representative Davis, Yvonne be approved to be  
         offered during consideration of the Local, Consent, and  
         Resolutions Calendar for Friday, May 11, 2001.  The motion  
         prevailed without objection. 
          
         Representative Cook moved that the floor amendment to SB 1119  
         offered by Representative Puente be approved to be offered  
         during consideration of the Local, Consent, and Resolutions  
         Calendar for Friday, May 11, 2001.  The motion prevailed without  
         objection. 
          
         Representative Cook moved that SB 651 & SB 1119, as amended, and  
         HB 1764 and HB 1765, be added to the Local, Consent and  
         Resolutions Calendar for Friday, May 11, 2001. 
         The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
