         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 11,  
         2001, the House Committee on Natural Resources met in a formal  
         meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative  
         Counts, at 11:36 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

         Absent:   Representatives Corte; Puente; Walker (3). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         HB 3074 
          
         The chair laid out HB 3074 as pending business.  
          
         Representative Counts offered a complete committee substitute.  
          
         The committee substitute was adopted without objection. 
          
         Representative Hope moved that HB 3074, as substituted, be  
         reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the  
         following record vote:  
          
         Ayes:               Representatives Counts; King, Tracy; Cook;  
                             Hilderbran; Hope; Lewis, Ron (6).  
           
         Nays:               None (0).  
           
         Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).

         At 11:40 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
