Pursuant to a notice posted on April 20, 2001, the House
Committee on Pensions & Investments met in a formal meeting and
was called to order by the chair, Representative Tillery, at
12:33 p.m.
The roll was answered as follows:
Present: Representatives Tillery; Woolley; Crownover, Myra;
George; Salinas (5).
Absent: Representatives Goodman; Rangel; Telford; Williams
(4).
A quorum was present.
HB 2957
The chair laid out HB 2957 as pending business.
Representative Woolley moved that HB 2957, without amendments,
be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the
following record vote:
Ayes: Representatives Tillery; Woolley; Crownover,
Myra; George; Salinas (5).
Nays: None (0).
Present, Not Voting: None (0).
Absent: Representatives Goodman; Rangel; Telford;
Williams (4).
(Representative Williams now present.)
The chair directed that the April 9, 2001, minutes for the House
Committee on Pensions & Investments be corrected. The corrected
minutes were authorized without objection.
At 12:43 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,
the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
