         Pursuant to a suspension of the 5-day posting rule on April 23,  
         2001, the House Committee on Public Education, Subcommittee on  
         School Finance, met in a public hearing and was called to order  
         by the chair, Representative Hochberg, at 6:20 p.m. 
          
         Present:  Representatives Hochberg; Dunnam; Hardcastle (3). 
          
         Absent:   Representative Grusendorf (1). 
          
         A quorum was present.

         At 7:00 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,
