The House Committee on State Affairs 77th Legislature February 5, 2001 2:30 p.m. or upon final adjourn./recess Senate Chamber Pursuant to a notice posted on January 24, 2001, revised on January 26 and 31, 2001, the House Committee on State Affairs met in a public hearing with the Senate Committee on Business and Commerce, and the committees were called to order by their chairmen, Representative Wolens and Senator Sibley, at 2:41 p.m. The roll was answered as follows: Present: Representatives Wolens; Turner, Sylvester; Bailey; Brimer; Counts; Danburg; Hunter; Jones, Delwin; Longoria; McClendon; Merritt (11). Absent: Representatives Craddick; Hilbert; Marchant; McCall (4). A quorum was present. A quorum of the Senate Committee on Business and Commerce was present. Testimony was taken on the subject of electric utility restructuring. (See attached witness list.) (Representative McCall now present.) (Representative Craddick now present.)
