The House Committee on State Affairs 77th Legislature June 12, 2002 10:00 a.m. Capitol Extension, E2.010 Pursuant to a notice posted on May 7, 2002, the House Committee on State Affairs met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Wolens, at 10:14 a.m. The roll was answered as follows: Present: Representatives Wolens; Turner, Sylvester; Brimer; Counts; Danburg; Hunter; Jones, Delwin; Longoria; McCall; Merritt; Riddle (11). Absent: Representatives Bailey; Craddick; Marchant; McClendon (4). A quorum was present. (Representative McClendon now present.) Testimony was taken on the subject of public utility customer service practices. (See attached witness list.) (Representative Turner, Sylvester in chair.) (Representative Wolens in chair.) Testimony was taken on the subject of the mission and performance of the Telecommunications Infrastructure Fund Board. (See attached witness list.) (Representative Turner, Sylvester in chair.) (Representative Wolens in chair.) At 1:14 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was recessed until 1:38 p.m., June 12, 2002. The committee reconvened at 1:38 p.m. and was called to order by the chair, Representative Wolens. Testimony was taken on the subjects of the mission and performance of the Telecommunications Infrastructure Fund Board and on broadband. (See attached witness list.)
