         Pursuant to a notice posted on March 19, 2002, the House  
         Committee on Transportation met in a public hearing and was  
         called to order by the chair, Representative Alexander, at 10:09  
         a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:  Representatives Alexander; Hawley; Hamric; Hill;  
                   Pickett; Swinford (6). 
          
         Absent:   Representatives Davis, Yvonne; Edwards; Noriega (3). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.) 
          
         At 11:53 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
