The chairman laid out SB 1053 by Senator Shapleigh, relating to rates and expenditures under the Medicaid and state child health plan program in the Texas-Mexico border region. The chairman laid out SB 1054 by Senator Shapleigh, relating to rates and expenditures under the Medicaid and state child health plan program in strategic investment areas. The chairman laid out SB 1055 by Senator Shapleigh, relating to rates and expenditures under the Medicaid and state child health plan program in strategic investment areas. The chairman laid out SB 1056 by Senator Shapleigh, relating to capitation and reimbursement rates under the state child health plan program in the Texas-Mexico border region. The chairman recognized Senator Shapleigh to explain Senate Bills 1052, 1053, 1054, 1055 and 1056. At 10:08 a.m. a quorum was established.
