         Pursuant to a notice posted on November 27, 2001, the Joint  
         Select Committee on Public School Finance, Sadler Subcommittee,  
         met in a public hearing and was called to order by the acting  
         chair, Senator Bivins, at 10:00 a.m. 
          
         Present:  Senator Bivins; Olson, Lyndon; Senator Shapiro;  
                   Representative Smith; Thompson, David; Senator Van de  
                   Putte; Senator West, Royce (7). 
          
         Absent:   Representative Sadler; Representative Oliveira;  
                   Stiles, Mark (3). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.)

         At 5:45 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,
