Proposing a constitutional amendment to eliminate obsolete,
archaic, redundant, and unnecessary provisions and to clarify,
update, and harmonize certain provisions of the Texas Constitution.

HJR 29            Jones, Delwin
Proposing a constitutional amendment to permit the commissioners
court of a county to call an election to abolish the office of
constable in the county.

HJR 2            Chisum / et al.
Proposing a constitutional amendment authorizing a commissioners
court of a county to declare the office of constable in certain
precincts dormant and providing a procedure for reinstatement of
the office.
