The committee will meet to hear invited testimony from James Christoferson
regarding the Texas Strategic Military Planning Commission, the Office of
Defense Afairs, and Texas military installations.  Testimony will also be
taken from James Nier regarding the Texas Veterans Commission, and from
Jerry Malcolm, regarding the Texas Military Facilities Commission.

The committee will also be hearing the following bill:

HB 271            Berman
Relating to the ineligibility of certain veterans to receive
benefits under the Veterans' Land Program, the Veterans' Housing
Assistance Program, or the Veterans' Financial Assistance Program.
