The committee will meet to hear the following bills:

HB 1019            Salinas
Relating to designating the state Tejano Music Hall of Fame.

HCR 79            Gutierrez
Urging congress to take steps to further the creation of port authorities
along the Texas-Mexico border.

HCR 85            Chavez
Memorializing congress to fund county and municipal inspections of
overweight traffic within 20 miles of the border.

The committee will also hear invited testimony from Secretary of State
Henry Cuellar regarding International Relations, Mr. Jeff Moseley regarding
International Tourism, and Mr. Julio Bastarrachea regarding relations
between the State of Texas and Mexico.
